This article is devoted to the study of money and its role in modern society. It examines the basic functions of money, its historical development and importance in modern economics. The first part of the article discusses the functions of money, such as a medium of exchange, a unit of value and a store of value. It then reviews the major phases of the history of money, from the exchange of goods for goods to the emergence of modern forms of money. The final part of the article provides arguments about the importance of money in the modern world, its impact on the economy and society as a whole. The purpose of the article is to provide the reader with a complete and comprehensive understanding of the functions, history and value of money in modern society
