THE EMERGENCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF ELECTRIC NETWORKS IN THE SURKHAN OASIS. (USING THE EXAMPLE OF 1914-1941 )

The article describes the activities carried out in the energy and fuel industry of Surkhandarya region in the years from the beginning of the XX century to the Second World War, which examines the state of electrification of the country after the First World War, the GOELRO plan and its implementation in the country, training of technical personnel and problems in this area. The sources related to the construction of the Kumkurgan hydroelectric power station, the Termez power plant, are reflected in the article.
