Abstract

Social networks have evolved rapidly since the beginning of the 21st century and are undoubtedly an integral part of the social and professional lives of billions of people around the world, influencing our way of speaking, which defines many of our communication habits. As the title suggests, this study focuses on the terminology of modern words in social media and media in the Uzbek language, and focuses on social media terms that have become verbal words - that is, the transition to a common language. Takes into account the use of terms in everyday communication. In particular, the purpose of this article is to discuss the status of these common linguistic units. Whether they are terms or words, or the term is an example of how they are formed.
