This academic article investigates the interplay of linguistic and cultural factors in the representation of emotions in Spanish and Russian language s. It delves into the semantic fields, metaphorical expressions, and grammatical structures associated with emotional concepts to identify both commonalities and divergences in the ways these languages encode and convey emotional experiences. The analysis aims to shed light on the interplay between language, culture, and the nuanced expression of human emotions.
