JADID MOVEMENT IN THE TURKESTAN REGION

In recent years, interest in the problems of sociocultural development of society in the past and present has increased significantly in historical science. The article examines the historical aspect of the national-enlightenment movement as jadidism (from the Arabic word “jadidiya” - i.e. “innovation”), which spread in Central Asia at the turn of the 19th-20th centuries.
