Abstract

The development of information and communication technologies has brought several new directions in learning foreign languages. How to use information technology effectively and creatively in foreign language lessons is an important factor today. Cell phones, especially smartphones, are used by a large part of the world ‘s population, and the emergence of these technologies has made it easier for people to communicate and learn languages. It has been serving as an effective method for learning. Development of mobile programs for language learners and even teachers is becoming popular. Some of these programs operate as mobile versions of websites that provide educational materials for students and other language learners. This article discusses language learning based on mobile technologies and the possibilities of using mobile devices in traditional language classes.
