Abstract

Explanatory and illustrative technologies are technologies in which the explanation of educational material is accompanied by various visual means. It is established that more than 80% of the information a person assimilates with the help of the organs of vision. By increasing the activity of visual receptors, the teacher can count on a higher assimilation of a new topic. Modern teaching also combines interactive tools in the form of presentations, flash animations, educational films. As a result of the competent application of various illustrative methods, the assimilation of educational material increases.
