Elektron qurilmalarning rivojlanishi magnit maydoni asosida ishlaydigan sensorlarga boʻlgan ehtiyojni oshirib kelmoqda, bu esa oʻz navbatida magnit maydoni asosida ishlaydigan sensorlarni rivojlantirishga turtki boʻlmoqda. Ushbu maqolada bir nechta magnit sensorlarini nazariyasi, ishlash prinspi, samaradorligi hamda iqtisodiy ahamiyati koʻrib chiqildi. Shular jumlasidan GMR (Giant Magnetoresistance) gigant magnit qarshilik sensorlari, TMR (Tunnel Magnetoresistance) tunel effektiga asoslangan magnit sensorlaridir.
