The growth of the car fleet in Uzbekistan is at its highest point for last ten years and is above the average historical annual growth rate of the last decade [1]. Owing to this increasing amount of traffic in urban and non-urban areas, there is a growing need for intelligent systems that improve the traffic flow. Currently, a lot of effort is put into improving the efficiency of transportation and the optimization of traffic flow systems by city authorities [2].

Abstract

In this article described public transport priority in intersections, its main problems, and solutions in Uzbekistan conditions.  How to settle the BRT system in intersections and its pros and cons.
