Melons grown in our country contain 85-92% water, 8-15% dry matter, 0.8% protein, 1.8% fiber, 6.2% other carbohydrates, 0.9% oil, 0.6% ash, Contains 20-30 mg% ascorbic acid, 0.03-0.07 mg% other drugs, trace elements such as phosphorus, sulfur, manganese, zinc, bromine, iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, pectin, organic and mineral salts. The content of sugar in the fruits of melons of Uzbekistan reaches 14-16%.
