Bilingualism is the ability of an individual to use two languages fluent and it also refers to the feature of multilingual communities. Despite the growing interest in this topic, there is limited research the effect of bilingualism on the learning the English language. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the existing literature on the effect of bilingualism on the learning the English language. The article will examine the factors that affect their language learning, including cognitive and linguistic abilities, and educational interventions. Additionally, the review will identify gaps in the literature and suggest directions for future research.
