Abstract

Butun dunyoda saraton yurak-qon tomir kasalliklaridan keyin o'limning asosiy sababidir; bu dunyo miqyosida o'limning ikkinchi sababi deb hisoblanadi.   Bunga sabab genetik jihatdan o'zgartirilgan meva va sabzavotlar va ba'zi pestitsidlar va kanserogenlar ta'siriga duchor bo'lgan oziq-ovqatlarni iste'mol qilish, chekish, spirtli ichimliklar ichish kabi nosog'lom turmush tarzi xatti-harakatlari bo'lishi mumkin. Kanserogen birikmalarning ayrim misollarini keltirish orqali saraton kasalligi va takrorlanish xavfiga o'ziga xos oziq-ovqat mahsulotlarining ta'sirini ta'kidlaydi.
